Mass.: We`ll have NEW popular Little Black Books from the diocese of Saginaw, another adult daily reflection--Love That Beckons, and a sticker activity & prayer book for youth to learn the story and lessons of Jonah & the Whale. Get & use each day of Lent to prepare for a whole-hearted Easter renewal of baptismal vows to Christ.

Congratulations & Prayers for Ellen Barber - OLV Youth Director. On Sat. Jan. 23, at 10 am Ellen will be commissioned by Bishop Lennon, at the Cathedral in Cleveland, as a Certified Pastoral Minister. After lengthy study and preparation, Ellen has achieved this special designation for ministry in our diocese.
Pray for those in RCIA process: Join us in prayers for 3 adults on our Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults journey to sacraments of initiation. Catechumens, those who have not been baptized, are Connie McNeal & Caitlin Murphy. Our Candidate, previously baptized in another Christian religion, is Rachel Esser.
OLV Parishioner Organized Thanksgiving Mission of Gratitude: In June, Kaija Jeantet of OLV spent a week in northeastern Kentucky at Point of Hope to help homeless in the area. She was so touched by the needs, she went back in November as a part of a local team, and she`s already got plans to go back to help where needed Kaija returned with much joyful news. HEAR BETTER AT MASS! We invite more people from OLV who cannot hear well at Mass to use one of 6 wireless units we have available for use. OLV parishioners, Drs. Rich & Terry Reikowski donated the units. For free help to get started, give Dr. Rich a call at his office at 330-644-1932. Tell the secretary you are from OLV, and would like to talk to Dr. Rich. He`ll get back to you and try to arrange the easiest way for you to be helped to hear at Mass. His office hours are 7am-5pm Monday through Friday.
OLV PEACE Group Prays for an Orphan: Our 4th-6th Grade PEACE group has joined with The Orphan`s Prayer, an organization which works to bring assistance and prayers to meet the needs of the orphans of AIDS victims in Mexico and Central America. Our Lady of Victory is a Catholic Christian Community that was established in Tallmadge, Ohio in 1943, and continues to grow to include over 1000 families.
We value:
Being a friendly, caring community; Gathering in prayer and worship; Helping our people to grow in a faith based upon Gospel values and teachings; Passing on our faith to our children; Supporting each other, and participating in parish ministries; Being open to change in more fully responding to God`s call.
We seek to be the Hands and Heart of Christ. Our relationship with Him enables us to:
